Bill’s passion has been helping families protect their legacies of wealth through servant leadership for over 30 years.  Bill’s extensive background in sophisticated estate and business planning helps client families through all seasons of life.  His approach to wealth management is shaped by recognizing that no two families have the same financial goals and needs.  Each family situation requires a personalized financial plan that needs to be regularly monitored and updated as life changes.  Bill also believes that stewardship is a financial cornerstone created by God and often works with his client families to generously and meaningfully share their resources.

Professional Experience

Over the past 30 years, Bill has maintained a private law practice specializing in sophisticated estate and business planning. Bill is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. During much of his professional career, Bill has worked closely and collaboratively with Micky Reeves and their mutual clients. That working relationship led to the opportunity for Bill to join Micky’s team at Eversource Wealth Advisors. Bill’s partnership with Eversource Wealth Advisors is a recognition that high net worth and ultra-high net worth families want and need a more unified “family office” service where different professional disciplines work together seamlessly for the client’s best interest. Often, Bill’s wealth advisory clients separately engage his law firm for estate and business planning.

Personal Summary

Bill is married to his best friend from college, Lisa.  Since their youngest of three recently graduated high school, they are empty nesters who are kept company by their spoiled goldendoodle, Kona.  Bill is the son of missionaries who spent over 35 years ministering in East Africa and was born in Kenya. That experience of growing up in a third world culture imbedded a lifelong deep affinity for international travel, where he enjoys seeing the miraculous creation of God.   Bill is involved in his local church and men’s Bible study, and he enjoys sharing his love of cooking with family and friends.
